Streamlined data entry through controlled vocabulary and reactivity
Data entry of metadata-rich data (in this case, biological taxonomic information) can be difficult because of the staggering amount of possibilities conditional on an item (e.g. if A, then B, but if B, then C). For this project, we are designing a tool that allows for complex data to be entered through user-based reactivity -- as a user chooses (biological / anatomical) categories, other (biological / anatomical) categories dynamically update with the appropriate metadata in response.
